The Advanced Technology Center is pleased to announce Andrew Smith, Computer Aided Drafting and Design teacher, as the ATC Teacher of the Year. Mr. Smith offers 20 years of teaching experience to his students and 15 years of employment in the design industry prior to coming to Virginia Beach City Public Schools.

“Andrew Smith is recognized by educators and industry leaders alike as an exemplary teacher, role model, and inspiration for future architects, engineers, and designers,” said Michael D. Taylor, Advanced Technology Center Director.
