Course description
In this two-year program, you can learn to install telephone, television, surround sound, security systems, closed-circuit television, and Internet connections. If you like working in a lab setting and installing current technology, then this class can provide you with the skills you need. Students prepare for the Satellite Technician, Certified Fiber Optics Installer and the Data Cabling Installer (DCIC) certifications.

 

Pre-requisites
A Telecommunications student needs to be a respectful and mature person with a desire to learn advanced technologies.

Career possibilities
Telephone, television and Internet installer, help desk worker, and satellite dish installer.
